Inquiries - General
The General System Summary is a very useful inquiry designed to give you an instant snapshot of your company's status, showing the company's overall sales, margins, and stock on order information at a specific point in time.
- Open the System Summary screen and select the company and warehouse you want to inquire on.
Refer to "Displaying the System Summary Screen".
- Select INQUIRIES | GENERAL.
Micronet displays the Select Output Device screen.
- Select whether you want your inquiry displayed on screen, printed, saved to a specific type of file, faxed, or emailed in a specific format.
Micronet prints or displays the General System Summary inquiry.
The general System Summary provides the following information:
- Sales YTD and MTD
- Cost of Sales YTD and MTD
- GP% YTD and MTD
- Discounts MTD and YTD
All of the above amounts are based on tax invoices or finalised sales orders. GP% is calculated on the average cost at the time of delivery and invoicing.
- Debtors Aged Trial Balances
Aged balances for all debtors. These comprise amounts owing by customers, stores or finance companies. They also include all customer deposits held on sales orders for stores.
- Stock Movements Month to Date
The report accumulates any movements in the stock for the current month such as:
- Stock Received – the total value of goods received
- Stock Adjust – the total value of stock adjustments made
- Cost Adjust – the total value of cost adjustments where the average cost has been manually changed and saved to the inventory files, creating a revaluation of the Stock on Hand
- Stocktake Adjust – the total value of stocktake adjustments made through the Stocktake program
- Stock Transfer – the total value of stock transfers between stores where there is a multiple store setup
- On Consignment – the total value of consignment stock
- Purchase Orders – the total value of purchase orders yet to be received.
- Opening Value – the value of stock at the beginning of the current month
- File Value – the change in value of the stock upon receiving goods. This will equal the Stock Received value unless the stock has a negative quantity value.
- Non Stock Cost of Sales
- Stock Transferred to WIP
- Non Stock Transferred to WIP
- Cost Sales – JOBS
- Current Value – the Opening Value including all the adjustments mentioned above (i.e. Opening Value + Stock Received - Adjustments).
- When you have finished with this inquiry, select the Exit button.
Micronet redisplays the System Summary screen where you can perform another inquiry if required.
